Overview

Physicist and engineer by training, I have been developing advanced platforms for research in biology for over 15 years. For seven years I led the Organ-on-Chip team in the group of Prof. Hierlemann at ETH Zurich, Dept. of Biosystems Science and Engineering. This work has led to numerous collaborations with academic, clinical and industrial partners.

Team and project leadership. I supervised and mentored 6 postdocs and 7 PhD students, working on multiple projects in parallel. I also acquired extensive experience in funding acquisition, budget management and stakeholder engagement.

Outside work. I enjoy exploring places, ideally by bike and with my family.

On these pages, I briefly introduce myself and delve a bit more into each of these aspects. Feel free to reach out if you want to know more about my work, would like to collaborate, or simply want to talk about biking and photography.
